HOW TO PLAY

Each puzzle is a tangle of dots connected by lines. Drag the dots until no line crosses another.

Lines in red are crossing something. When the counter reaches 0, the puzzle is untangled. Any layout without crossings counts — there is no single answer.

Every puzzle comes from a seed and always has a solution. Copy the code (e.g. 7-847291638) to challenge someone with the same puzzle.

  • Drag the background to pan; mouse wheel or two-finger pinch to zoom; double-tap the background to re-center.
  • Esc menu · P pause · R restart · Z undo · Y redo · H hint · N new puzzle · F center
  • Keyboard: click the board, Tab selects a dot and the arrows move it (Shift for bigger steps).
  • Each hint adds 10 s to the official time and removes 5% efficiency. Up to 3 per puzzle.
  • Stars combine moves and time, calibrated to the size of each puzzle.

EMARANHA is a logic game about graphs: a set of dots connected by straight lines, all tangled up. Your job is to drag the dots until no line crosses another. It looks simple — until the knots start to grow.

Every puzzle is generated from a seed and is guaranteed to have a solution. Start with five dots, climb through ten levels up to CHAOS, then see how far you get in infinite mode. No download and no sign-up: it runs on phones, tablets and computers.

Does every puzzle have a solution?

Always. Each puzzle is built from an untangled layout that is then shuffled, so at least one solution exists — and any layout with zero crossings counts.

How does the daily challenge work?

The daily puzzle is derived from the date, so every player gets the same one. Solve it every day to build your streak.

How is the ranking calculated?

Each solved puzzle earns points based on its size and your stars. Competitive mode is worth 50% more; hints reduce the score.
